The Nordic Walking Association of North America (NWANA), the national federation advancing Nordic Walking in the United States, is launching the Southern Tour 2025–2026 — a 64-day, 24-city regional campaign with more than 100 free community clinics and participation in USATF/World Athletics–recognized events.

About NWANA

NWANA is the U.S. national federation for Nordic Walking, responsible for education, athlete development, competitive standards, and community programs. The federation’s mission is to expand Nordic Walking across the country and establish sustainable local clubs and training ecosystems.

Mission

To accelerate the development of Nordic Walking as a sport in the United States, establish a unified system of clubs, athletes, and officials, and connect all new initiatives with the expanding World Nordic Walking Movement, using standardized events, education, and professional pathways.

Southern Tour Overview (2025–2026)

The NWANA Southern Tour covers major cities in the southeastern United States and brings Nordic Walking directly into local communities. The tour features free Nordic Walking clinics, demonstration participation in recognized events, and collaboration with local health and wellness partners.

Hotel Partner

Support lodging for the NWANA Southern Tour team across all 24 cities.
